Covid-19 Coronavirus And Distance Learning Update

"Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones."
--Thich Nhat Hanh

 To our Learning Shack Family,

With constantly changing Covid-19 protocols and rules, we know this has been a scary and stressful time for everyone. We want to thank our existing schools, advisors, and family relationships for trusting us now more than ever. If you’re new to The Learning Shack, we’re here to support you in any way we can. The education and protection of our kids is our number one priority.

At The Learning Shack, we understand that navigating online instruction is a new experience for a lot of people. Fortunately, we approach it with the same discipline and efficiency that we have since we began instructing students back in 2003. We have taught thousands of students and have been offering online academic tutoring and test prep via Skype and FaceTime as an option since 2015, and have now further expanded our online teaching and tutoring resources and platform choices to include Zoom and other popular platforms, all with the same great whiteboard and learning experience.

For the many families and school districts who are having their first experiences with online instruction in the current environment, we know it can be a lot to handle. That is why are in the process of creating several free resources to help our parents and educators succeed in this new age. We are also offering promotional discounts for students interested in transitioning from in-person tutoring to online tutoring or distance learning with us, or for those who are brand new clients to help out in these challenging times. Check back here frequently to get the latest news as these resources should be available shortly.  In the meantime, check out our free resources page for some ideas for your student at home!

Most importantly, please stay safe and healthy, know this period will pass, and in the meantime, if you have any questions or need support about what to do or where to begin, feel free to reach out to us.
